Cerin Museum

The Cerin Museum is the first paleoecological museum in Europe. It presents the results of world-renowned excavations: fossils of fish, crustaceans, molluscs, reptiles and tree leaves of exceptional quality.

Chartreuse Natural Park

Created in 1995, the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park extends over 76700 hectares on the Isère and Savoie, between Chambéry.

A pre-Alpine limestone massif, it reaches an altitude of 2082 metres. The central Chartreuse is characterised by a mountain with a steep relief and covered with deep forests. It is the favourite hunting ground for roe deer, wild boar, deer, mouflons and chamois.
