Now transformed into a charming guest house and mini campsite, Goûte la Vie was once the sawmill of the village of Cerin, a typical hamlet in the beautiful Bugey region of the Ain department.

Built in 1930, this historic building is surrounded by a large wooded garden and nestled between plains and mountains. It is the perfect place to take a break, reconnect with what truly matters and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Whether you are staying for one night, a weekend or a longer holiday, as a couple, with family, friends or in a group, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and authentic charm of the countryside. We also welcome you for life's special occasions, whether private celebrations or professional events, in a warm and relaxing setting.

As nature lovers, we are delighted to welcome you to Goûte la Vie. We have created a true haven of peace where you can slow down, recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty, tranquillity and authenticity of the Bugey landscapes.

Because breakfast is one of the highlights of the day, we serve a generous and delicious breakfast every morning. It includes freshly baked croissants and bread, homemade pancakes, cured meats, organic cheeses, organic jams, locally produced honey, organic fruit juices, as well as organic coffee, organic teas and herbal infusions.

In the evening, by prior reservation, you are welcome to join us at our table d'hôtes for a friendly homemade dinner featuring a starter, a main course, a selection of cheeses and a dessert. We prepare our meals using fresh ingredients, with a strong preference for organic produce.

Located in Marcahamp, just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lyon, Grenoble and Annecy, Goûte la Vie is the perfect base from which to discover the treasures of the Bugey region, enjoy beautiful hiking trails, explore the local heritage or simply relax and unwind in the heart of nature.
