Terms & Conditions of Sales

Article 1: These general terms and conditions of sale are intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in Goute la vie (Speck Gregory) bed and breakfast rooms.
Guests will receive the warmest welcome. The owner is committed to ensuring they are received with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and their exploration of the region.
Article 2 - Length of stay: The client contracted for a fixed period shall under no circumstances be entitled to any right to remain on the premises.
Article 3 - conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the client has sent the owner 100% of the total amount of the price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room reserved.
Article 4 - No right of withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the consumer code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at specific intervals.
Article 5 - Cancellation by the client: All cancellations must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner.
a) Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 15 days before your arrival.
b)Up to 7 days before your arrival, you can cancel your reservation, subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of your reservation.
c) Less than 7 days before your arrival, the full amount of your reservation will be due.
d) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains fully payable to the owner.
Any additional services not used will be refunded.
Article 6 - Cancellation by the owner in case of force majeure (illness, death): If the owner cancels the stay before it begins, they must inform the client by letter or email.
The customer will be reimbursed immediately for the amounts paid. No penalty will be due.
Article 7 - Arrival: The client must arrive on the date and at the time specified in this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the client must notify the owner.
Article 8 - Regulations: Payment for rooms is made at the time of booking; extras are payable on site.
Any additional services and expenses not mentioned in this contract will be payable to the owner at the end of the stay.
Article 9 - tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the client must pay to the owner who then forwards it to the Public Treasury.
Article 10 - Use of the premises: The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They agree to return the rooms in good condition.

Article 11 - Capacity: This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse the additional clients.
This refusal cannot in any way be considered as a modification or breach of contract initiated by the owner, so that in the event of departures of a number of clients greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.
Article 12 - Animals: This contract specifies whether the client may stay with a pet, provided they comply with the house rules. If the client fails to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the pets.

This refusal cannot in any way be considered as a modification or breach of contract initiated by the owner, so that in the event of the client's departure, no refund can be considered.
A supplement of €10 is required per animal and per stay.
One pet is allowed per room.
Any material damage caused by the animal will be due.
Article 13 - Children are under the responsibility and supervision of their parents or guardians during their stay. Parents are responsible for any material damage caused by their children.

Article 14 - A swimming pool is available. Eating or drinking is prohibited in the swimming pool;

Children under the age of 18 are prohibited from swimming without parental supervision. The owners of Goute la vie are in no way responsible for any accidents that may occur on the property.
